Jim Byk has been a Broadway press agent for 33 years, handling over 120 Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Prior to co-founding The Press Room, he spent 15 years at Boneau/Bryan-Brown, where his credits included the publicity campaigns for the Tony Award-winning productions of The Book of MormonProofDoubtThe History BoysRedLa Cage aux Folles (2010), The Norman Conquests, and Death of a Salesman (2012), as well as Twelfth Night/Richard III and Jerusalem with Mark Rylance; Betrayal with Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz; The River with Hugh Jackman; The Cripple of Inishmaan with Daniel Radcliffe; Lucky Guy with Tom Hanks; Hamlet with Jude Law; Macbeth with Kenneth Branagh; Gypsy with Bernadette Peters; Tom Stoppard’s Rock ’n’ Roll and JumpersThe Scottsboro BoysMary StuartThe SeagullCurtainsUrinetown; and Disney's Beauty and the Beast. He has represented Manhattan Theatre Club, Signature Theatre Company (NY and DC), Guthrie Theater, and Soulpepper Theatre Company. He handled theatre press outreach for the films Birdman, Dreamgirls, Sweeney Todd, Nine, Doubt, and In Bruges. Shane Marshall Brown began his career in theatrical publicity in 2005. As a senior press agent at Sam Rudy Media Relations for over six years, he worked on the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton, the long-running Avenue Q at New World Stages, and Vineyard Theatre. Kelly Guiod has been a theater publicist for over 16 years, representing over 40 Broadway and more than 60 Off-Broadway productions. Past Broadway credits have included Tony Award winners for Best Play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Tony Award winners for Best Revival of a Play Death of a Salesman and Fences, as well as Matilda The MusicalThe River by Jez Butterworth, Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway, Twelfth Night/Richard III with Mark Rylance, The Motherf**ker with the Hat, and Waitress. Nina Marie Ward joined The Press Room as a Press Associate in 2019. She is an active member of the ATPAM EDI committee, ATPAM’s Black affinity group and is involved with other initiatives aimed to create a more inclusive and equitable theatre industry, especially in “behind the scenes” positions. Prior to joining The Press Room, Nina worked extensively with educational institutions on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion and held roles in operations, human resources, sales and consulting at a variety of companies. She has also assisted several non-profits for social media campaigns and community outreach. Nina grew up in Massachusetts and received her B.A. from Bowdoin College. PN: she/her/hers


Louisa Pancoast is a recent addition to The Press Room team, though she’s been steeped in New York City’s performing arts community since 2012. Prior to The Press Room, Louisa was the Assistant Director at Garvey|Simon, a contemporary fine arts gallery, where she curated exhibitions and acted as Artist Agent. Additionally, she has performed professionally with contemporary and modern dance choreographers throughout New York City, Chicago, Austin, Boston, Kalamazoo, and Atlanta, appearing at such venues as the Museum of Modern Art, 92nd Street Y, Battery Dance Festival, and Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center. She received her B.A. in English Literature and Art History from New York University. Louisa is excited to lend herself to the arts in yet another capacity. PN: she/her/hers


Maddie Greenberg joined The Press Room in 2022. She is pursuing her B.A. in public relations with minors in musical theatre and global studies at Hofstra University and is a proud alumna of The Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Queens. She is a classically trained vocalist and actress whose credits include Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden and the New York State Capitol Building. At Hofstra, she studied international journalism in Italy and is currently writing her Undergraduate Honors Thesis on international politics and social media. Before The Press Room, she worked with beauty and wellness brands as an assistant at Kristen Long Communications. She is a Fair Media Council Folio Award winner and takes her coffee black. Christian Heino joined The Press Room as an intern in 2023 and is currently receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Entertainment, Fashion, and Media Communications at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study as well as a Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology minor at NYU's Stern School of Business. While at NYU, he served as the Vice President of Operations for the Fashion Business Association and the Social Media Manager for Gallatin's annual student-run fashion show. Prior to joining The Press Room, he worked as a Global Wholesale intern for Oscar de la Renta and as a publicity intern for Frank PR, working on such films as John Wick 4, How to Blow Up a Pipeline, Mafia Mamma, and Nimona, among others.
